Here is an example of mulching if you have a job done you have the choice to keep your own mulch as a paying customer if your not a customer and  require me to drop you a load of mulch you will be charged for the product depending on volume you require price on request from builders merchants its around 115 pounds a bulk bag there is 5 bulk bags worth on a truck when fully loaded if you want a price for laying mulch you will not be charged for the mulch whatsoever only the cost of laying it daily labour rates saving you hundreds of pounds on materials it's fantastic weed suppression and is very similar to forest bark it's a great alternative to gravel because it's eco friendly all mulch will be laid with membrane for better weed suppression check out videos on Google 

It's not just mature trees I work on I can easily do smaller trees and shrubs and manage to squeeze these smaller jobs in between bigger jobs because most areas in Falkirk I have plenty of regulars

How often should I trim my hedging ?

Trimming hedging is highly advisable twice a year however if its a challenging and expensive job once a year Is acceptable bear in mind twice a year will enhance the appearance of hedge making it look more healthy and colourful enhancing the overall appearance of the property itself

When's the best time of year to cut back trees and shrubs ?

Generally speaking the majority of trees and shrubs can be pruned  any time from the spring till the back end is absolutely fine hardy trees such as conifers leylandi evergreens and many more can be cut in winter as well there is a few trees and shrubs that have different months required but again the arborist should be able to advise what can be pruned at what time

Trees overhanging my property can I cut them back ?

Yes you can legally cut back  trees or shrubs from private or council land/property as long as you are willing to pay the expenses involved 

Can I get free logs ?

Yes you can absolutely keep your own logs when you have had a tree cut down on your own property however if your not a customer and require me to log down a truck load of logs and separate it from the mulch and deliver to your property it will cost you 150 pounds for 5 cubes of unseasoned logs or 100 for a half load high quality logs available all year round

Can I get free woodchip mulch

Yes if your a customer you have a choice to keep your mulch however if you are not I can source high quality woodchip mulch which is great for weed suppression you lay same as bark prices available for the product I can also do the laying prices available 

Can I cut my neighbours trees or hedging on my side ?

Yes you can as long as its on the boundary line legally your within your rights to maintain if there not willing to maintain or fund they legally do not have to fund or maintain your side whatsoever

Contacted William to significantly reduce the height of an overgrown tree on the boundary of my garden... and I'm very glad I did. Not only did he perform what was a very challenging job exceptionally well and at a very reasonable price, he handled some challenging conversations with interfering neighbours with the utmost tact, diplomacy and professionalism... so much so that they intend having him do work in their own gardens.
